Some are lonely, some are scared

Some don’t know what they’re doing there

Some are blind, some are lost

What were you

At the cross?

 

Some are hurt and some confused

Some betrayed, some abused

Some will heal, some will bleed

Some will stay, some will leave

 

Some find mercy, some find grace

Some find strength to run the race

Some find things they thought were lost

What did you find

At the cross?

 

Some find healing for their pain

Some find a place to leave their shame

Some find power and Pentecost

What did you find

At the cross?

 

Some will heal and some will bleed

Some will stay and some will leave

But before they go

We must show

The Jesus we’ve seen

The Jesus we know

 

At the cross I found

the blood Jesus shared

What did you find

when you got there?

We all must see

how high the cost

For what Jesus did
